1. Marketing Manager (RM3,000 + Commissions)

Southeast Asian Centre for e-Media is recruiting a Marketing Manager. The main responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to develop and execute marketing plans for the following SEACEM Projects:

• Earth247.tv Channels: Promote the establishment of video channels amongst the civil society groups and independent media in the Southeast Asia region
• Advertisement Sponsorships: Develop and implement advertisement sponsorship program for independent media organizations, including liaison with Sponsors in Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Jakarta and Bangkok
• Grant Applications: Identify potential grant agencies and assist in the process of grant proposal writing including research, data collection, editing and presentations

2. Editorial desk

• Journalists (RM1,500 to RM3,000)

We are looking for energetic, well-informed writers to be based in Kuala Lumpur and bureaus in Shah Alam, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak. Internet skills a must. 3. Videographer (RM1,500 to RM2,000)

Malaysiakini.tv is looking for a videographer. The ability to edit videos using either Adobe Premier(TM) or Final Cut Pro(TM) will be an advantage. (Skill level: Basic)

Candidates who have undergone a video camera technique workshop with FINAS or similar institutions or who have had at least one year of experience as a camera operator are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

* Pursue new business opportunities, identifying the prospective clients, generating sale leads.

* Develop and implement customer retention strategies

* Making presentations/demonstrations.

* Promote the organization’s services to the market at large

* based in Klang Valley

Requirements:

* Preferably 1 - 2 years relevant working experience in marketing, advertising industry,e-commerce or any related field. Highly motivated fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
